Jo Godsmark, one of Labyrinth’s two co-directors has joined Ruth Waring, Labyrinth’s MD, in the ranks of the SHD Logistics 100 which recognises the most influential movers and shakers in the UK Logistics industry.
This is an amazing achievement for Labyrinth showing how influential the company has become in the industry – with only one other (large) UK company having two people recognised on the Logistics 100 list. It is a testament to Labyrinth’s strength as a consultancy demonstrating the industry wide recognition of our logistics business expertise and leadership combined with our years of on the ground experience in the industry.
Jo has been recognised for her notable achievements in the industry: her leadership as Chair of the CILT Outsourcing and Procurement Forum – bringing large numbers of suppliers and buyers together to share knowledge and form consensus on best practice; her vision in seeing the opportunity to transform logistics compliance through software application SilkThread® and her energetic and heartfelt work as Chair of the board of Trustees of Transaid the logistics industry charity.
Ruth Waring Labyrinth’s MD was recognised on the inaugural CILT Logistics 100 List and is again named this year in recognition of her continuing contribution to the industry. Ruth is known across the industry as an expert on logistics process improvement, compliance and health & safety, as co-creator of SilkThread® multi award winning compliance management software and as founder of Women in Logistics UK.
Jo said, “It means a lot to be recognised as part of such an influential and high achieving group of people in the industry. I am passionate about working to improve industry standards through industry forums like the CILT Outsourcing and Procurement group and through increasing use of digital technology like SilkThread® to demystify complex areas and put knowledge and status information into the hands of people doing the work and the people accountable for the results. It’s an exciting time to be working in logistics and it’s an honour to have been recognised in this way.”
The Logistics 100 is an annual list of the UK logistics industry’s most influential professionals. It is selected by a panel of industry experts based on factors such as delivering operational strength, driving change in the industry, positively influencing others and demonstrating visionary ideas for the sector.
